Zanele nearly lost everything when her house burnt down.
Over the years, Good Morning Angels have had too many requests the help families who have lost everything in house fires. Recently, this happened to a members of staff at our radio station. Zanele Matsane and her three children were at home when their house caught alight - they are still not sure why, but it seems like is was an arson attack.
Broken Wings is a non-profit organization. We survive purely on donations and sponsorships of various kinds. 2009 was a huge challenge for us because of the recession. Earlier this year we were almost forced to close our doors, leaving the 35 disabled members to find alternative centres to go to due to the donations received, being far less than our running costs.
