Helping Sophia and Ian
Ian is a young father of Bronkhorstspruit. He and his fiance have a little baby girl of just over six months. He was on his way on his motorcycle when he crashed into a truck. He has no medical aid and has not been able to work since the accident. He's been treated in the Johannesburg Academic Hospital, where Sophia, his fiance visited him from Bronkhorstpruit every day. He now needs an operation to save his hand and this would cost around R 30 000,00
A career fire fighter, Gert Venter, now needs assistance.
The GMA Fund will arrange for Gert to be measured and consulted over his and Lillian's specific needs and then a custom made wheelchair will be built for Gert. The consultant will also advise the couple on other devices that could make life easier to them both, to the total value of R30 000,00!
