WATCH: See Boitumelo's story this Sunday at 8:55 and 17:55 on "Vat my Hand" sponsored by Builder's Warehouse on KykNet, DSTV channel 111
I am Boitumelo Molete, a 22 year old girl in Mafikeng. Newly registered student at Unisa this semester. I registered to study communication science but I don't have finance for it as no one wants to help nor have a fixed job at home to help me pay. I've been trying to get a job and am still trying, but with no luck thus far. I'm very excited that I'm studying. My registration fee was paid for by my friends parents, and now R1716 is due to be paid by the 15th and I don't have it. I haven't bought prescribed books. I don't have access to a computer and I was advised to access a whole lot of info and interact with lecturers and other students through the internet. The reason I want to succeed is because I'm not getting support at home as they don't believe I'll make it. I want to be the first one to graduate at home and prove to them that our under privileged circumstances don't determine our future and that we too can make it.
