Fixing Little Mielo-Trent Skinner's hands.
Mielo-Trent Skinner is 3-years old. He was born with a very rare condition called "simbrachi dactili" or webbed hands. His one hand has been operated and corrected through a sponsorship from the Smile Foundation. Now, the other hand needs to be done.
Dr Tienie Rooyen, who did the first operation for free at the Cure Day Clinic in Erasmuskloof, has also offered to do the second hand free of charge and Brink & Vennote anesthetists will also offer their services free of charge. The hospital and theatre costs still amount to R40 000,00, which Mielo-Trent's young parents cannot afford.
WATCH: Mielo-Trent's story this Sunday morning at 8:55 and 17:55 on "Vat my Hand" sponsored by Builders Warehouse on KykNet, DSTV channel 111
