Helping Joshua Mostert after his epilepsy attacks (GMA).
Baby Joshua Mostert from Pretoria, is 16 months old and still cannot sit. He had severe epileptic fits from a very young age, which has stunted his development. His parents have been doing the best they could for him, by providing medical help and vital therapy. However, they both recently lost their jobs.
They have been paid out for three months - which will have to cover their living costs while they both seek new employment. This means, that Joshua's therapy has become a "luxury" they cannot afford. The Round Table Pretoria has decided to help this therapy and also, to enable Joshua's mom to do the therapy at home. They will also invest in special equipment needed to speed up the therapy to enable Joshua's muscles to develop. This equipment will be used by Joshua, until he is healed and then re-used to help other children with similar needs. Read more about the Round Table and their annual Theatre Shows at www.rtt.org.za
SPONSORING: The Round Table has allocated R4000,00 from their 2011 Theatre Show Fundraiser to send Joshua and his mom, Landi for therapy and therapy training. They have also allocated a further R 40 000,00 to buy the special equipment needed to speed up the therapy. Once Joshua's needs are fulfilled, the equipment will be re-used for other children with similar needs.
